Senior Beauty Therapist & Manager - Full Time

Beauty Essentials is looking for a dedicated, hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated senior beauty therapist with managerial responsibilities to join the team in our busy Didcot salon. You will carry out a full range of beauty treatments whilst supporting our managers and junior team members. The ideal applicant must be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 3 years in salon experience.

You should also be able to demonstrate strong management and leadership skills and be able to motivate staff to achieve salon goals. Ultimately, an exceptional Senior Beauty Therapist and Manager should achieve excellent customer service by ensuring that clients have pleasant salon experiences.

As natural beauty and skincare specialists we offer non-invasive treatments to a wide range of clients. We have a reputation for excellence in customer service and treatments and are particularly well known for the quality of our waxing, electrolysis, tanning and facial treatments.

The role will require you to provide professional beauty treatments to clients including but not limited to:

• Massage and Facials
• Waxing with warm and hot wax
• Eye lash & brow treatments
• Gel Nails
• Manicures and Pedicures
• Sienna X Spray Tanning
• Electrolysis

The role will also include duties as required to keep the salon running effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily salon operations, including taking payments, inventory management, and customer service
• Oversee staff and ensure they are meeting performance expectations
• Work with the salon owner to set goals for each staff member, evaluating staff performance, and liasing with the business manager to arrange training as needed to provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism
• Addressing and resolving client complaints regarding salon services and employee behaviour.
• Handle administrative tasks such as record keeping and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Maintain a clean and organised salon environment
• Ensure that all client communications, including booking requests are replied to in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the Salon Owner and Business Manager

To become part of our fantastic team, you must have the following skills:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Female intimate waxing (Lycon preferred but not essential)
• Environ Skincare qualified (preferred)
• Electrolysis Qualification (preferred)
• Intimate hot wax qualified (preferred)
• BioSculpture Gel trained (preferred but not essential)
• Nouveau Lashes LVL lash treatment qualified (preferred but not essential)
