Star of the Twilight films Kirsten Stewart has become the face of a new perfume from Balenciaga Florabotanica.
Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière commented “She is the perfect embodiment of a certain idea of Balenciaga: that beauty that is both pure and uncontrollable. She is totally this graceful and mysterious figure that symbolises this strange botanical garden.”
Said to be a massive admirer of fashion label Balenciaga, Kristen noted “There is something natural about it. It’s very alive. I think that as a young person wearing it – considering that I’ve never worn a scent – it kind of puts you on this level of, like, ‘Whoa, check me out.’”
The fragrance is the 3rd to be launched in the Balenciaga collection.
